The Last Mile – Closing the Doors
For almost 5 years, Driving Hope Inc (DHI) has been helping those in need with vehicle expenses. We have had to adapt to the changing economy in order to help even in small ways. Now, DHI has come to the last mile for the ministry and with God’s direction, are closing the doors on this adventure.
As of September 12, 2024 we are no longer accepting applications nor donations. Over the next few weeks the current funds will be expended by serving the remaining client applications received prior to August 29, 2024. DHI will be officially dissolved by the end of the year.
Since the beginning DHI has served 79 clients and we have been able to bring that personal touch to these in our community, not only through financial help but also through conversation and prayer. DHI was given opportunity to partner with other ministries as well, both local and national. We are grateful for the 33 donors who have made this possible by their support of donated vehicles and finances. We are also grateful for the countless others who supported us with prayer.
Again, thank you to the donors for your support. Thank you to the clients who allowed us to come along side and give a hand up.
God has blessed us though this great journey of serving Him by serving others and we give Him glory and praise. It has truly been our honor to have been part of this ministry.
